Michelle Moran

This summer, my friend Caitlin from work at Chapters suggested that I read a book called Nefertiti by Michelle Moran. This book is about the famous queen of Egypt, Nefertiti, as seen through the eyes of her sister, Mutnodjmet. I was immediately hooked and could not put it down.

So I decided to read the next book linked to Nefertiti. And guess what! The novel Heretic Queen was just as good, if not better! I didn't think it was possible but  Michelle Moran is some kind of miracle worker, or something. This book is about Mutnodjmet's daughter who marries a Pharaoh and attempts to get the Egyptian people to accept her.

Moran has two more books out at the moment: Cleopatra's Daughter, and the newest, Madame Tussaud. I definitely plan on reading both of them.

I typically love all historical fiction so suggestions are always welcome!

  1. MEW-SHER, MEW-SHER.

I want someone to call me that, cause it's incredibly cute. Plus, I feel like I sometimes make cat noises.
